WOMAN for her “I AM WOMAN. I am sugar, softness, sweetness honey. I am a garden of angels, I am grace. Every morning I walk into the spring thaw and try and try and try again. I am the forest that grows with patience, not rage. I handpicked my softness like a flower arrangement. I am the safe house in the storm. This is the strength I carry. I am the fire and the smoke. I am the words you stutter to find me. I am girlhood. The love I carry in these womanly hands breaks open locked doors and let’s the sun in. I am the breath of fresh air and I am the top of the mountain. This is me. I AM WOMAN.” the vision. so i invited her out one day and brought my camera. 'let me show you how i see you', i told her. neither she nor i truly understood the impact that her yes would have. it was there, on that sunny afternoon, that my love for making art with women began. it felt like dancing, like summer rain, like a cool, fresh breeze rushing through open windows in the morning. that is what i seek to gift to other women: a chance to feel that same light. a chance for the warm, pink glow to blossom. a chance to break open a bit. not like porcelain, but like waves. to invite back girlhood, innocence, unbreakable hope. that was what WOMAN was created to be. the story of these woman shoots began a few years ago, with a woman who would become one of my greatest friends. this friend, she was the epitome of sunshine. everything she was, everything she was becoming, felt like light. she was THAT woman. warm and loving. eyes glistening with joy, her entire being dipped in hope. she was impossibly, rawly beautiful. like most women, she also struggled to maintain a friendship with her body. she opened up to me about it, how she didn't like the way she was built here, or how that sat there, or how this should be smaller or that should be bigger. and honestly, as much as i tried, and i really did try, i just couldn't see it. i understood where her reservations came from. i was also a woman. i know how the mind plays tricks. but to me, none of the imperfections mattered. that's what made her who she was. she was, in her entirety, truly one of the most magnificent women i had ever known. it would be a grand shame if she never got to see herself the way the world around her did. choosing your art. divine the woman an ode to the woman in all her becoming. four hours across three beautiful settings, with time to play, to move, to feel, to make art of all that you are. from flowing water to open fields and the wild embrace of the ocean. ~ approximately 4 hours together ~the complete belov’d woman experience ~ three distinct settings: creek/ waterfall, open field, & ocean ~ 3–5 looks, with time for outfit changes ~ a complete, thoughtfully curated gallery of professionally edited, high-resolution photographs ~ gallery delivered within 21 days $1,500 photography addition: motion keepsake ~ a short cinematic film. a little love letter to you. ~ (not available as stand-alone option) $400.00 a lovesong to the woman you are. an hour set aside for you. to wander and play and move freely. let the light fall where it may while we make art of you. the woman ~ the belov’d woman experience ~ a thoughtfully selected location ~ time for outfit changes ~ gentle direction througout with room for spontaneity ~ a complete curated gallery of professionally edited, high resolution photographs ~ gallery delivered within 21 days $750 photography ~ a short cinematic film. a little love letter to you. ~ (not available as stand-alone option) $300.00 addition: motion keepsake for the art of it. a little room for imagination. stepping into a world currated just for you. the styled woman ~ the belov’d woman experience ~ one thoughtfully styled setting, with carefully selected props and backgrops ~ styling and creative direction throughout ~ time for an outfit change for a different look ~ a complete curated gallery of professionally edited, high resolution photographs ~ gallery delivered within 21 days $750 photography maternity sessions are available across all three WOMAN experiences - divine, woman and styled - at the same prices, with the same inclusions. a little extra care is taken when planning your session, from choosing locations that are comfortable and accessible to allowing for time to rest, movement and outfit changes. maternity sessions are ideally photographed between 32 and 36 weeks of pregnancy, although we can always discuss a time that feels right for you. if you’d love to have your photographs well before your little one arrives, expidited gallery delivery may be available for an additional fee, subject to availability. MOTHER beloved little one; i am, for you. the process 01 let’s meet + choose your package. a consultation to discuss the woman package you are after, your vision for the art (including location), and outfit ideas. 02 book the shoot. pay the deposit to lock your shoot in. 03 keeping in touch. we’ll keep in contact in the lead up to your shoot. i will send all details including a location pin + timeframe (especially if we are shooting at sunset) 1 week prior. 04 the shoot. we run around together! the art gets made. 05 you’ve got mail. your final gallery and/or film is delivered. odds & ends all prices are inclusive of GST. travel costs outside of bne are not included. a non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your booking. the remaining balance, including any additions to your package, must be paid in full before your final gallery and/or film is delivered. when you’re ready book in, simply get in touch. i’ll send through everything you need to confirm your booking and officially lock in your shoot.
